I know it's not a sim and it's arcade, but how was it? Was it fun playing with a wheel? Was it worth your purchase? I was thinking either between this or F1 2013, but I have F1 2012, which I don't play much, and I really don't see much of a difference between 2013 and 2012 (besides new cars and different people on different teams). So. is GRID 2 worth my 30 dollars?
I was also thinking about getting a racing wheel. It's between a G27 and a Fanatec Forza Wheel. Which one should I get? Should I wait for the next get in wheels?
The Fanatec doesn't come with a shifter for 299.99, but has nicer pedals, while the G27 has a shifter, wheel, and pedals for the same price. Both have the same turning ratio (900 degrees). Which one should I get?

If you don't have GRID 1, get that over GRID 2. Better physics, funner etc.

I don't have experience with Fanatec, but I've had a Logitech Driving Force GT for a few years and love it. They even replaced the whole thing outside the warranty period when the pedals stopped working earlier this year

I have the first one and I liked it. I know the second one isn't at all like the first, but I'm not expecting that.

I'd say go for the Logitech. I've been hearing a mixed bag about Fanatec. lots of people who love it, and others who hate it, as they seem to break.
I've been hearing GRID 2 isn't that good. It's like what they did to DiRT. It doesn't feel right with a wheel. There's a lack of interior views, if that's your thing.

I own the Logitech G27. It is a great racing wheel and the shifter is a big plus even if it doesn't feel super realistic. Also, I got mine refurbished from Newegg for 199$.

If you are getting it for PC, I would recommend waiting for Steam's christmas sales, if not, $30 is ok, you can get some hours out of that game. For the wheel I've usually bought Logitech, I can safely say all of the stuff I've bought from those guys has great quality, I haven't tried Fanatec but I have to say the G27 is great. Also I've heard that GRID 2 doesn't work completely well with a racing wheel, I'd stick to a regular 360/PS3 controller for that game.

F1 2013 actually has quite a bit different in handling characteristics, seems to be better than 2012. GRID 2... Was not that great in my opinion. Didn't feel realistic enough for me.
Also, I love my G27.

Do you have a ps3? If so Grid 2 will be on PS Plus free game list this month! You can download it within this month and have it till you cancel PS+
I say get G27 from my own experiences. Took my wheel to friends house for a GT Night and they all ended up buying it the next day.

I just got it for like 10.00 because of Steam's Autumn sale.
